I was walking outside barefoot, thinking about how long the grass was getting when it dawned on me that it looked rather interesting…especially being warm enough to go outside in the first week of March!

Yesterday, I opened up this blog so that I could show someone what kind of photos I like to take. I was suprised when Kim , from Seattle Daily Photo welcomed me back to the city bloggers. I haven’t posted anything for nearly a year and was surprised to find that I was still on the portal.
So maybe it is time to circle back around and start posting photos again. My finger has been itching a bit to find fun shots. I don’t promise to post everyday, but I will start posting often.

This is a spiral aloe that I found at the Port Defiance Zoo in Tacoma.
While working on the yard, I picked up a fallen branch and was startled to see something moving inside of it. I assumed it was a bug of some sort. Upon closer examination I was charmed to find that it was a little frog about the size of my thumb. Unlike yesterday’s guest, I hope this little fellow stays around.
This is the last shot I’ll show, If I’m not careful, my brother will start fussing at me again!
These were my favorite variety…I don’t know what the real name is, but we dubbed them the “Santa Claus” just for fun.
Norma guessed it right, we made a quick trip to La Conner to see the fields of tulips. The photo doesn’t even come close to showing off all the colorful tulips. The hills in the back are the foothills of the Cascades.
